That is just a holding socket for the passenger airbag inhibit switch option when fitted, its plugged in their when switch is not fitted and is no part of the bluetooth etc. Add: you certainly have the correct bluetooth module, just check the Usb lead is pushed in ok, mine did come out once and lost connection.
I have just replaced the battery in my x reg 1.8 ford mondeo duratec, once reconnected the radio wanted the radio code which i found on a sticker in the book along with the radio code etc, when entered it is not accepting the code, I cannot get the unit out either to get the number from the side of it for dealer to do it! It would then send you to step 2 asking if screen is completely inop, yes, go to step 4, Check for Corrosion, bent pins etc at the screen connector. If ok replace the FCDIM. The microphone for the system is either in your rear view mirror or in the headliner just above the windshield. SYNC does not understand the name of a song or artist.
Hi everyone. I would like to know if it is possible to change the language of voice controls from German to English on a Ford Mondeo 2011 with the Sony system shown in the picture attached below. I was able to change the language for the Convers+ display, and to update the system with the audio update from November 2012, but that did not change
Harry. Tiny brain got its act together over nite: Audio "6000CD" in Mondeo won't turn off !! Well the CD played all night and by the morning the Radio/CDplayer had recovered its intelligence and its fascia was working again. Very strange, that I could not kill the thing even by switching off the ignition.
